Intellectual Youth Club IIUM (IYC) was established on 2001 under S-DEV International Islamic University Malysia (IIUM). Its main objective is to promote knowledge culture among students and the society as a whole.
Former Rector of IIUM, Prof. Kamal Hassan during the official launcing ceremony of Intellectual Youth Club said,
"IYC is the first child of IIUM"
As IYC is the first club that fight for knowledge, and IYC mission and vision of establishment are parallel with IIUM's vision and mission as the Garden of Knowledge and Virtue.
VISION OF IYC
To create an intellectual thinking among the IIUM students and to built the knowledge culture in the Garden of Knowledge and Virtue.
MISSION OF IYC
To fulfill the intellectual void and vastness among Muslims students so that they’ll be able to think through new paradigm and intellectual originality
